Sri K.V. College of Pharmacy was established in 1986 by late C.V.Venkatarayappa, B.A., Ex-MLA for noble cause of providing pharmaceutical education for the rural and backward communities in un-divided Chickballapur and Kolar districts. Sri K.V. College of Pharmacy managed by Sri K. Venkatapatheppa Trust.

Sri K.V. College of Pharmacy is situated in Chickballapur about 54 KM from Bangalore and 27 KM from Kempegowda International Airport, Devanahalli (on Bangalore – Hyderabad National Highway-7). Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Drug Control Board, Karnataka and approval by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
